Posted on May 25, 2011. This week I tried to change the Battery on my Garmin heart rate monitor ( HRM2-SS ). The change itself is not that difficult – only remove the 4 screws at the backside, open the cover, change the old Battery with a new CR2032, close the cover and place the screws back. 96p993 over 5 years ago. Now that many of you have had the Fenix 5 for awhile Im wondering what chest heart rate monitors everyone recommends. I did a search but apparently Im not smart enough to just search this forumHoping yall can help. Im not looking for anything special, just something that connects well and is accurate. Reply. Reason 1: Your HRM does not have Bluetooth. This is most riders/runners issue. I did not know going into it that most Garmin HRM do not have bluetooth. The only 2 HRM’s made by Garmin that have Bluetooth are the HRM Dual, and the HRM Pro. If you are riding on a computer and have access to Ant+, this should not be an issue.
