If you are a 300 lb fatass like myself, get the 1100. otherwise the 750 is a great bike, I bought a 1999 Shadow 750 ACE brand new, it was perfect for the few years I owned it but at 300 lbs it was a little sluggish. Honda makes great bikes with awesome engineering so if you maintain it, there will be few issues during the first 100k miles..
