I read this information on the BMW site as well as my personal experiences. 1) It will not work if you are in M mode. 2) The engine HAS to be at operating temperature. 3) If the climate control is on auto and the cabin is not at the desired temp (set by the controls) (heat/AC) the start/stop will NOT activate. Having the water pump in a non rotating mode during warmup must certainly speed up that process. Changing an E90/E92 thermostat is most likely a job for those high priced auto surgeons in their white coats. 2007 335I, " Gray", Black Leather, Step, Comfort, ZCW, ZPP, ED - Oct 5, 2006. Hi mayorchuck has u know my car 1995 under bonnet I have relays 2 relays for abs on drivers side with a 50 amp fuse .on the passenger side there are 2 relays with what looks like 2 large plugs with lots of wires coming from them. Hey fellas, if anyones interested I just fitted a power seat from a BMW X5 E53 2006 model to a BMW X5 E53 2004 , the older model had the same connection but when I fitted it did not work, solution for me was simple, I just hot wired it direct to the battery and inserted a inline fuse and connected only 2 wires from the seat red is + and brown is - and hey presto all works fine..regards Matt Oq2MKIV. 982 480 734 70 578 248 774 883
