Full faith in Horizon H2GP World Final competitors as they head to Las Vegas A team from Gladstoneâs Faith Baptist Christian School have celebrated their upcoming trip to the United States to compete at the Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix (H2GP) World Final by meeting with sponsors to showcase their skills and car design for the six-hour, hydrogen-fuelled race.
The H2 Grand Prix (H2GP) aims to fill this gap. Challenging high school students to not only engineer the internal hydrogen components of the 1:10 scale RC car, but to redesign the chassis and even use computer-aided-design to create more aerodynamic car bodies â the H2GP is able to successfully integrate traditional science and engineering with the arts.
The Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix (H2GP) World Final is revving up for its biggest event yet, and itâs all happening in the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. ⢠The Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix programme will run in a minimum of 10 schools as a curriculum or after school educational programme. It can be run with a full class of students or a smaller team. ⢠The programme will commence between October 2023 and February 2024 ⢠It will culminate during the UK H2GP Finals between April-June 2024.
